Sumerian Records Bands Cover Florence + The Machine for Tribute Album; Stream Covers By STYG, Periphery, & Come The Dawn

If you ever wonder what Sumerian Records bands would sound like covering Florence and the Machine, you’re in luck.  Sumerian Records will be releasing a Florence and the Machine tribute album this May with reinterpreted versions of songs from the band’s 2011 album Ceremonials. 

The tribute will see majority of the Sumerian roster tackling Florence and the Machine tracks — Stick To Your Guns, Periphery, Darkest Hour, Born of Osiris, Upon A Burning Body, Dead Letter Circus, and more.

Here are the first three singles off the release, from Stick To Your Guns, Periphery, and Come The Dawn. The effort is titled Sumerian Ceremonials: Florence + The Sphinx — it comes out May 13th.
