Black Map (Dredg, Far) Have Plans to Record a Full-Length Album

Black Map wrapped up a pair of shows supporting Crosses this past week, and tomorrow will trek down here to Hollywood to make their LA debut at the Viper Room with Kill Devil Hill (ex-Pantera) and All Hail the Yeti. What are your thoughts on their debut EP, Driver?

If you’re diggin it, you’ll be thrilled to know the band have plans to work on a full-length album. In a recent interview here, guitarist Mark Engles said there’s a debut album on the way.

We already have enough material for a full length, but we wanted to get a small taste out there so people knew what we were about. It should help us get shows/tours and just more interest overall.

As far as touring plans, the band hope to get out this summer. We have our fingers crossed.
