PELICAN to Release “The Cliff” EP feat. a Song with Vocals

by | Dec 3, 2014

Well isn’t this something else? Pelican will kick off the New Year with an EP titled The Cliff that include one brand new song, a slew of remixes of their track “The Cliff,” and a version of the song that — for the second time in their 14-year career — will have vocals.

The Chicago instrumental band put out their latest album Forever Becoming in 2013, which had “The Cliff” on it. The forthcoming EP will feature remixes of the track done by Justin Broadrick (Godflesh, Jesu), along with Aaron Harris and Bryant Clifford Meyer of ex-ISIS/Palms.

Here’s a version of the song with vocals on it done by Allen Epley (Shiner, The Life and Times).

The Cliff EP comes out on February 24th via Southern Lord Recordings.
