DEFTONES are Recording Album #8 in February

Ah, your ears perked up! Rightfully so. Next month Chino Moreno and co. will be back in the studio recording a new album, their eight studio effort and a follow up to 2012’s Koi No Yokan.

Guitarist Stephen Carpenter spilled the beans over the weekend during this interview done at NAMM.

We’re supposed to be going into recording next month, but we’re taking it as it goes. We’re not all the way ready now, but we’ve still got time and we’re working on it.
