HEAD WOUND CITY (Blood Brothers, Locust) are Recording a New Album with Ross Robinson

by | Mar 10, 2015

Do you remember Head Wound City, the band that includes The Blood Brothers’ Jordan Blilie and Cody Votolato, The Locust’s Gabe Serbian and Justin Pearson, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs’ Nick Zinner? The band put out an EP in 2005 and did only a handful of shows.

But then last week the band reissued a remastered version of their self-titled EP on vinyl via Pearson’s Three One G label; and they’re currently at work on a new album with producer Ross Robinson, who you know produced The Blood Brothers’ classic album …Burn, Piano Island, Burn.

Turns out, they should be done recording with Robinson later this month, and they hope to do some shows this spring, prior to the album’s release in late summer.

For now, here’s a stream of their EP reissue. We’ll keep you posted as we go.
