REFUSED Release their First New Song in 17 Years; New Album “Freedom” Out this Summer

Word on the street for a while has been that Refused have been working on a new album. Even after their 2012 reunion tour the band insisted that the group would be laid to rest. But Refused aren’t fucking dead, and in fact will be releasing a new album this summer.

The band’s forthcoming record is titled Freedom and it’ll serve as a follow-up to their 1998 album The Shape of Punk to Come. This summer the band will be all over the world, and will even be doing a run of dates with Faith No More.

Here’s a new track off the record called “Elektra.”

Freedom will be available on June 30th via Epitaph.
