THE WORD ALIVE Frontman Broke His Back During a Show in Pomona

by | Nov 19, 2015

Ouch! The Word Alive’s Telle Smith suffered some harsh injuries after a 12-foot stage dive last weekend in Pomona, breaking his back and injuring his ribs.

Telle said,

In spite of his injuries, the band wont be cancelling any shows. They’re currently wrapping up a US tour supporting Motionless In White and The Devil Wears Prada. Tomorrow they’re performing the last date of the trek in Minneapolis at Mill City Nights.

Recovery time? Looks like three to four months. And Telle is being pretty optimistic about it:

I’ll be back at it hard in 2016!! Backflips included once I’m 100%

Feel better, Telle. Here’s a full stream of the band’s latest album Real in its entirety.
