OMAR RODRIGUEZ LOPEZ is Releasing 12 Solo Albums this Year

Damn, Omar! We knew you had a bunch of unreleased material, but we didn’t realize it was 12 albums worth.

The At The Drive-In/Mars Volta guitarist recently inked a deal with Ipecac Recordings, and he’ll be releasing all 12 albums this year. They’ll be coming out on a bi-weekly basis starting next week.

The music was recorded from 2008 to 2013 while living in Zapopan, Mexico as well as in El Paso. The albums will be released digitally, along with a limited run of physical copies, available at shows wherever Omar will be.

First up is Sworn Virgins, which comes out July 15th.
