STRAY FROM THE PATH Get Political with New Single

by | Nov 8, 2016

Just in time for Election Day. Long Island provocateurs Stray From The Path are channeling their Rage Against The Machine side and sending a message to voters: “We’re all fucked no matter who we choose.”

The band premiered their new single “The House Always Wins” which takes a jab at America’s political system. Here are some of the lyrics:

Here we go again.
The cycle repeats, four years of defeat
wrong way down a one way street
The fix is in, the price will make your head spin
They’re calling the shots, and you’re not
politicians hitting the jack pot
The debates begun
Gays, gods and guns
everyone hates everyone.
burn the ballots sweep em under the rug

“The House Always Wins” will appear on the band’s forthcoming album, due out sometime next year. Right now the guys are gearing up for a European tour that kicks off in a couple weeks supporting The Amity Affliction alongside Northlane and Wage War.
