You know that new band Sleepwave, featuring former Underoath frontman Spencer Chamberlain? They have a new record (their debut album) coming out later this summer, tentatively titled Broken Compass; and they just inked a deal with Epitaph Records.

How kind those gentlemen were to pick us up on the corner of Hollywood/Sycamore and drive us to our humble abode to talk about their EP, Drugs to the Dear Youth, and what it was like playing shows with Finch.
Finally — we’ve got (almost) complete dates and venues for the upcoming ’68 (ex-The Chariot) tour with Listener and The Homeless Gospel Choir this summer. It’s called the “I Went on Tour and All I Got Was This Tour, Tour.”

What a band this Silver Snakes is. They’ve been out this year supporting their new album Year of the Snake, and they just announced another round of summer dates with Æges, Planes Mistaken For Stars, Vattnet Viskar, Devourment, and Lions of Tsavos.
