Converge/Napalm Death 7-inch Split in Works
Converge and Napalm Death will self-release a 7-inch/digital split release. A release date has yet to be announced.
The effort will feature tracks from Converge’s new album sessions — “No Light Escapes” and a rendition of Entombed’s “Wolverine Blues” — and a handful of guest appearances, including Tomas Lindberg (At The Gates, Lock Up), Aaron Turner (ex-Isis, Old Man Gloom), Kevin Baker (All Pigs Must Die, The Hope Conspiracy), and Brian Izzi (Trap Them).
Two Napalm Death songs will be featured on the outing, “Will By Mouth” and “No Impediment To Triumph (Bhopal).”
Details have been revealed for “The Mayhem Festival Cruise,” set to take place aboard the Carnival Imagination on December 7th through December 10th, kicking off in Miami, Florida.
Departing from the Port of Miami and traveling to the Bahamas, the festival will feature Lamb of God, Machine Head, Anthrax, Suicide Silence, Hatebreed, Kingdom Of Sorrow, plus Gojira, Periphery, Born of Osiris, Battlecross, Otherwise, Girl on Fire, Anti Mortem, and Gyspyhawk, plus JDevil (Jonathan Davis of Korn) and DJ Starscream (Sid of Slipknot).

Coheed and Cambria Covers Gotye (Video)
Coheed and Cambria performed a cover of the hit Gotye song “Somebody That I Used To Know” at their show Sunday night in Charlottesville, Virginia at Jefferson Theater. Video footage is below.
Chelsea Grin have re-recorded some material from their 2010 album Desolation of Eden, which will see a digital release via iTunes. A release date is to be announced.
The reworked tracks are in addition to the band’s forthcoming Evolve EP.
