Endwell No Longer A Touring Band

Endwell have announced that they have retired from touring, the band said in a lengthy Facebook post.

“…We have tried countless times in the past year and a half to get back on the road and it just was not happening. After numerous long talks with Danny we’ve decided that we ARE NOT breaking up the band…in fact we might be around forever. What we have decided to do is essentially retire ENDWELL as a touring act but continue on as a studio band that plays occasional shows.”

The band plans to put out an EP, collection of EPs, or a full-length album before the year’s end.

Additionally, a new version of the track “Sympathy For All Sufferers” is expected to debut online shortly.

Attila to Miss Canada Shows, Chris Fronzak Denied Entry Again

Attila frontman Chris “Fronz” Fronzak has again been denied entry into Canada.

Fronzak released a statement on Tumblr: “Dear Canada, I am sorry to announce, but I WILL NOT be allowed into Canada for the Toronto and Montreal dates of ‘The Sick Tour’… My manager and I worked very hard and payed SHITloads of money in hopes that the Canadian government would let me cross the border. Canada basically called my manager and said ‘No fucking way’. It pisses me off, but there is nothing I can do. I have a felony on my record and Canada is the ONLY country in the world that I am not allowed in. However, I WILL be reconsidered to cross the border in 2 MORE YEARS! Sorry for making you wait so long, and on behalf of ATTILA, I am truly sorry that we will not be playing any shows in Canada :(“

In August 2011, the vocalist was denied entry into Canada while on the “All Stars Tour.”

The band is currently on tour with Chelsea Grin.

Animals as Leaders & Drummer Navene Koperweis Part Ways

Animals as Leaders have reportedly parted ways with drummer Navene Koperweis.

Tosin [Abasi] and Javier [Reyes] are the two most generous, caring and understanding individuals I’ve ever met and I look forward to a lifetime of friendship with the both of them,” Koperweis stated.

“Over the past decade I have done nothing but music. Recording, writing, playing, practicing, touring and producing. It’s taken me beyond what I could have dreamt of as a kid when I started.”

“My new goals extend beyond the drum kit and I’m the type of person who will constantly chase new dreams. You’ll be seeing a lot more of me soon.”

The band has temporarily recruited Matt Garstka to handle drum duties.
