Actor Johnny Depp will make a guest appearance on a bonus track for the upcoming Marilyn Manson album Born Villain, reports MTV.co.uk.
Depp teamed up with Manson for a cover of Carly Simon’s 1972 track “You’re So Vain,” in which he plays drums and lead guitar.
Depp’s nine-year-old son also contributes to the track, Manson told MTV. “Johnny’s son Jack – whose birthday I’m gonna be performing at – was in the room and he actually played on the song too. It’s pretty cool.”
Born Villain will be released on May 1st in North America through Cooking Vinyl.
Two new tracks from The Used, “Shine” and “Put Me Out,” can be streamed on AltPress.com and Hurley.com respectively.
The songs come off Vulnerable, the band’s new album, due March 27th through Anger Music/Hopeless.
