Earth New Album Due in February
Earth has set Angels of Darkness, Demons of Light: II as the title of its next album, due in February via Southern Lord.
Trent Reznor and Atticus Ross are offering a free six-song sampler of tracks from The Girl With The Dragon Tattoo soundtrack, now due digitally on December 9th and on CD December 27th. The sampler can be downloaded at Nullco.com.

Though it was reported that Tool entered the studio last week with Joe Barresi, a recent amendment to the band’s latest newletter has clarified that while members of the group are in the studio, the recording sessions taking place are for Volto!.
Meanwhile, Tool is at work writing new material. In late-October frontman Maynard James Keenan confirmed that writing sessions for a new album are underway.
Counterparts will perform a The Used cover set at their upcoming Toronto, Ontario show on December 20th at Sneaky Dee’s.
