“No More Sentimental Sh*t, ALEXISONFIRE is Officially Back”

That’s what guitarist Wade MacNeil said at Riot Fest in Toronto over the weekend. Alexisonfire are officially back together. Foreva eva apparently.

“We promise to never leave you again,” he said. Of course he doesn’t mean the band will exist until the end of time. Or does he? Whatever the case, we’re holding you to it, Wade. We’ve got some serious abandonment issues.

No word yet on what’s in store for the future of AOF. But here’s footage of the announcement:
