Randy Blythe’s Bail Denied Again

by | Jul 25, 2012

Lamb of God frontman Randy Blythe’s newly paid bail has been denied by the prosecutor.

According to The Gauntlet, Blythe’s bail of $400,000 USD was challenged by the prosecutor on Wednesday.

The site reports that on Friday the prosecutor will submit to the judge a reason for the bail denial. “At that point, the judge has five days to rule, and another five days for it to be written or published to the court. The judges ruling at this point will be final and unless charges are formally filed, Randy will be free to leave the Czech Republic without condition on bail.”

Blythe has been detained in a Czech jail for nearly a month, accused of injuring a man during a Lamb of God performance who consequently died in 2010.

Lamb of God’s upcoming tour with Dethklok and Gojira is scheduled to kick off next week — no statement has been issued on whether the tour will continue without Blythe.
