That New As I Lay Dying/Oh Sleeper Band is Called Wovenwar

by | Apr 14, 2014

Since As I Lay Dying frontman Tim Lambesis is facing up to nine years in prison, the remaining members of the band have decided to do their own thing, forming a new band with Oh, Sleeper guitarist/vocalist Shane Blay.

The members of AILD have been teasing the band for a couple weeks now, and Tim Lambesis himself even leaked some info about it in the statement he issued on AILD’s website last Wednesday.

Anyway the new band is called Wovenwar. It features Blay with Nick Hipa, Phil Sgrosso, Josh Gilbert, and Jordan Mancino. Their debut album is due on Metal Blade this year, and they’ll be premiering a new track called “All Rise” next week.

Here’s a teaser for it.
