Thomas Erak of The Fall of Troy opened up to us about his love for Step By Step the first time we interviewed him in 2007. You think Cody Lambert still lives in that van? And don’t even get us started on Dana. Mamacita.
As you probably know, The Fall of Troy are back — this time completely DIY. For them that means no label, no booking agent, nada. They’re doing everything themselves, which has presented some interesting hurdles. But even more interesting is the band’s approach to tackle these obstacles.
The group announced that they’re going to keep everything localized, from printing T shirts to the bands that’ll be opening for them (yes, that means your band could play with them). They’re even going a step further as to have fans design their merch. Pretty badass, eh?
We assume this means TFOT will be down to do a house show with us the next time they’re in LA — like the one we just posted with 100 Onces. Thomas, let’s make that happen.
TFOT will be playing a show in Seattle on February 22nd at the Showbox. If you’d like to lend your talents to help the band in any way, go to this link here.
