The New Album from Barrows Will Make You Whip Out Your Red Giant

Ya know the house show we did with Barrows last year? Oh how rad that was! It was right before they entered the studio to track their new album with Toshi Kasai (Melvins, Tool), a follow-up to their 2011 debut Imprecari Island. The bummer: they wouldn’t let us hear any new songs.  🙁

Well, the instrumental quartet from Los Angeles have finally spilled the beans on their long-awaited sophomore release. The new record is called Red Giant and will be released everywhere on May 6th. And yes, we’re pretty sure the Green Giant is intimidated.
