Torche Writing New Album, Add Second Guitarist

Torche is currently writing material for a new album, and expects to begin pre-production in February.

“By next month we should have our entire record written and we will begin pre-production demos,” comments drummer Rick Smith. “I’m really digging the new stuff. I feel like it’s a little bit of all our sounds covering everything from the first record to the last one! Lots of heavy shit!!!”

Additionally, the band has added a second guitar player to its lineup named Andrew Elstner. Elstner will contribute to the writing process of the band’s next record.
