Wovenwar’s (ex-AILD, Oh Sleeper) Debut Album is Set for an August Release

by | Jun 18, 2014

Several years ago when we interviewed Oh Sleeper, Shane Blay told us about life on the road and objectives the band had at the time. Who could have guessed he’d eventually start a band with the remaining members of As I Lay Dying? Since Wovenwar’s formation this year, the band has picked up a ton of steam; and they’re gearing up to release their debut album this summer.

The band’s forthcoming self-titled album is due out in August. They’ll be kicking off their first tour ever in July supporting Black Label Society alongside Kyng, and then will head across the pond for a string of European festival dates in August.

Here’s a new song from the band called “The Mason.”

Wovenwar comes out on August 5th in North America through Metal Blade.
