Deftones New Album Release Date
Deftones have tentatively set October 9th as the release date for their next album, reports EW.com.
Deftones bassist Chi Cheng is making a steady recovery from pneumonia, and is expected to return home from ICU this week.
Quicksand took the stage for the first time since disbanding in 1999 on Sunday at the Revelation Records 25th Anniversary Shows in Pomona, California.
The highly rumored surprise set saw the band performing songs from 1993’s Slip and 1995’s Manic Compression. Video footage is below.
Slipknot’s “Knotfest” has officially been confirmed to take place August 17th in Council Bluffs, Iowa at Mid America Motorplex and August 18th in Minneapolis, Minnesota at Somerset Amphitheater.
On the bill: Deftones, Lamb of God, Dethklok, Serj Tankian, Cannibal Corpse, The Dillinger Escape Plan, The Urge, Prong, and Gojira. Additional acts are to be announced.
