Now that we’ve got that out of the way, we can confirm that the rumors are true. Every Time I Die have officially entered the studio to begin recording their new album with Kurt Ballou of Converge.
Do you remember the first time we interviewed Andy Williams of Every Time I Die and had an in-depth convo with him about music and technology? He told us about his recording experiences with ETID and how he likes things to feel natural and real. “Sometimes the slightest fuck up on a guitar is something that sounds really cool — because it shows that you’re human.”
You know one of the first bands Andy Williams ever played in was called Spam Beach? When we interviewed the Every Time I Die guitarist early last year he told us about his early beginnings. What kind of music was it? “I don’t even know dude,” he shook his head and laughed.
Keith Buckley’s new mysterious project Black Medal has been putting out a new song almost every other week. And we’re not complaining either. What ††† (Crosses) is to Deftones is what Black Medal is to Every Time I Die.
