If you’ve been following us for a while you know that we fell head over heels for the band’s 2012′s debut Catholic Guilt or the Queerest of Thoughts, placing it at #3 on our Best Releases of 2012. What did we say it was — “immoral and intoxicating?” That’s just the way we like it.
When we sat down with Between The Buried And Me bassist Dan Briggs at a Thai restaurant a few years ago, he told us about his DIY roots in Erie, PA and why his side-band Orbs was so special to him. “We really have a chance to do things more DIY and hands-on…all kinds of stuff I haven’t been able to do the past five and a half years.”

Orbs, featuring Between the Buried and Me bassist Dan Briggs and Adam Rupert Fisher (ex-Fear Before, All Human), have been at work writing a new album.
All Human, featuring former Fear Before guitarist Adam Rupert Fisher (Orbs), will release an album titled Catholic Guilt or the Queerest of Thoughts later this summer through Revival Recordings. A release date is to be announced.
