System of a Down frontman Serj Tankian will perform with The Lebanese National Symphony Orchestra at Beirut Rock Festival 2011 in Lebanon on September 2nd at Zouk Roman Amphitheater. Also set to perform at the festival is his father Khatchadour Tankian.

System of A Down frontman Serj Tankian will play a free orchestral show in Yerevan, Armenia on August 14th at Tumo, as part of the opening events of Tumo Center for Creative Technologies.

Tankian will perform alongside 40 orchestral musicians with conductor Hamish McKeich, playing songs from the Elect the Dead Symphony to an estimated audience of 12,000.
