System of a Down will hit the road overseas next year to commemorate the 100th anniversary of the Armenian Genocide with their Wake Up The Souls Tour. It’ll hit numerous spots in Europe and will conclude with their first-ever performance in Armenia with a free show in Yerevan’s Republic Square.

Palms (Deftones, ex-Isis) have been tapped to support System Of A Down at their Los Angeles show in July.
There seems to be some growing tension with the members of System of a Down and frontman Serj Tankian — bassist Shavo Odadjian says the band wants a new album and will make one with or without their colorful frontman.
Serj Tankian released a video for his upcoming Orca symphony, which is due out in June.
