Wait, The Blood Brothers AND Glassjaw are on Fun Fun Fun Fest?

by | May 20, 2014

We knew it was only a matter of time before we started seeing more shows from The Blood Brothers pop up. Last week the band announced their reunion, and that they’d be performing this summer at FYF Fest. Turns out, they’ll also be doing Fun Fun Fun Fest in Austin, TX this fall.

That means we could actually get a decent amount of The Blood Brothers this year. As we’ve said before, it’s been 11 years since …Burn, Piano Island, Burn came out, and exactly one decade since Crimes was released. Maybe they’ll announce a tour where they’ll be performing one or the other in full?

Another Ross Robinson-produced band, Glassjaw — who he referred to as The Kings — will also be doing Fun Fun Fun fest. They were in Australia a few months back doing Soundwave, along with some Sidewave shows with Dillinger. We assume they’ll at least be planning some shows around when they head to Austin.

Fun Fun Fun Fest will take place on November 7-9 at Auditorium Shores in Austin. Also on the bill is Death Grips, Deafheaven, Pianos Become The Teeth, and a bunch others.

And since we’re in the mood, here’s a full stream of The Blood Brothers’ Crimes.
