What Would Kids Do if Faith No More Put Out a New Album?

by | May 30, 2014

It surprises us how many young dudes in bands we meet who have heard of Faith No More but haven’t heard Faith No More. Or they’ve only heard that one song “Epic.” How does such blasphemy occur? By now you’ve probably seen the internet buzzing about FNM possibly writing new music, which was sparked by a tweet that said “it’s time to get a little creative.” So what does this all mean to you?

Well, if you know all about FNM we don’t need to answer that question — you’re already stoked, like us. We got to see them a few years ago when they did their LA reunion shows, and Mike Patton almost kicked us in the head when he crowdsurfed. That was awesome.

But if you’re a young chap unfamiliar with their tunes, don’t feel too ashamed. But it’s definitely time to get yourself acquainted with one of the most influential bands of our lives. Formed in 1981 (which is older than all of us), the band’s 1989 album The Real Thing (which was their third record and the first to feature Patton on vox) put the world in its place.

Wiki the shit outta them, and stream the record in full below.
