Does ATREYU’s Return Mean a New Atreyu Album?

by | Jul 1, 2014

By now you’ve seen the interwebs abuzz about the return of Atreyu after a three year hiatus. We saw this coming before we walked in the room. Last year rumors started swirling about the band resurrecting, and they even teased the idea — saying that if they were writing new music, it would have “tons of screaming and shredding…none of that major label BS.”

After the recent demise of Fake Figures (feat. guitarist Travis Miguel) and more escalating rumors about Atreyu regrouping, it was only a matter of time. Of course you know all the rumors we report on here are true.

Anyway, Atreyu will be playing Aftershock in Sacramento on September 14th.

Could there be more shows announced this year?  We’re gonna say yes.

Will there be new music released? The rumors say yes to that too.

Here’s a stream of their 2009 album Congregation of the Damned.
