HEAD WOUND CITY (Blood Brothers, Locust, YYYs) Have a New Album “A New Wave of Violence”

by | Feb 16, 2016

And it was recorded with producer Ross Robinson (At The Drive-In, Glassjaw). The band that features members of The Blood Brothers, The Locust, and Yeah Yeah Yeahs have a release date for their new album, and they’ve got a bunch of tour dates coming up.

Quick history lesson: The band put out an EP in 2005 and only did a handful of shows. Then last year they reissued a remastered version of the self-titled EP… and then started recording their new album with Ross.

That album is called A New Wave of Violence — it comes out on May 13 through Vice Records. But before that, they’re going on a brief West Coast tour in March/April.

Here’s the first song off it called “Scraper.”

Head Wound City tour dates:

Mar 22 Tucson, AZ @ 191 Toole
Mar 23 Albuquerque, NM @ Sister
Mar 24 Denver, CO @ Lost Lake Lounge
Mar 25 Salt Lake City, UT @ Kilby Court
