DEFTONES “Gore” – A New Album this Spring?

by | Jan 22, 2016

Sure does look that way. Album #8 from Deftones may just see its release this spring. A follow up to 2012’s Koi No Yokan, the band finished recording it last summer around the time they toured with Incubus.

Nothing is officially confirmed… but from what we can tell the upcoming record is titled Gore. Why so dark?

If you remember, back in November when the Paris attacks happened, a couple of the members were actually at Le Bataclan watching Eagles of Death Metal. They could only stay for a couple songs — and ended up leaving the venue moments before shots rang out.

According to this interview Stephen Carpenter did at NAMM, the album is slated for an April 8th release date.
