Oh What, Mutoid Man Signed with Sargent House

by | May 27, 2014

You may remember the interview we did in 2009 with Cave In, when Steve Brodsky told us about his love for the band Fugazi. We love us some Fugazi. We also love us some Mutoid Man, the group featuring Brodsky with Ben Koller of Converge. Have you heard their debut album Helium Head?

If not, stop what your doing right now and stream it below. It’s great from start to finish, and we’re particularly fond of the CD bonus track “The Manimals,” which is a rendition of The Animals’ rendition of Nina Simone’s 1964 song “Don’t Let Me Be Misunderstood.” Did you get all that?

Anyway, the band already have plans for a new album in 2015, which will be released on Sargent House.

Here’s Helium Head in its entirety.
