Sol Invicto, featuring Deftones guitarist Stephen Carpenter and producer Richie Londres, will self-release a new EP called Initium II. A release date is to be announced.
Further, the duo plans to collaborate with The Tony Danza Tapdance Extravaganza guitarist Josh Travis on a few tracks in the coming months, Londres told Noisecreep.
Anthony Green’s track “Right Outside,” featuring Deftones frontman Chino Moreno, has premiered at RollingStone.com.
The song will appear as a bonus track on the digital deluxe edition of Green’s forthcoming solo album Beautiful Things, out January 17th through Photo Finish Records.

Camp Freddy’s four-night residency at The Roxy saw guest appearances by Sebastian Bach, Billy Gibbons, Mark McGrath, amongst others.
A vinyl pressing of Deftones’ self-titled album will be released on January 17th via Maverick.
Reprise Records will release a Deftones limited edition vinyl box set, Deftones: The Vinyl Collection 1995 – 2011, on October 25th exclusively through deftones.com and becausesoundmatters.com.
The 8-LP vinyl collection is a seven-album retrospective that includes the band’s six studio albums — Adrenaline (1995), Around the Fur (1997), White Pony (2000), Deftones (2003), Saturday Night Wrist (2006), and Diamond Eyes (2010) — plus Covers, the band’s 2011 Record Store Day release.
The effort will be pressed on 180-gram European virgin vinyl, and is limited to 1000 pressings.
